The pathway
A multi-year sequence of rigorous math and computer science courses, delivered by Art of Problem Solving, surrounded by research, competition, and applied programs run by world-class partners.
Students who are ready for college-level mathematics years before college now have a pathway built to work with their schools: rigorous coursework through Art of Problem Solving, real research, a community of peers, and advocacy for release time and credit for that work. The first cohort begins in the 2027–28 school year.

Inside your school
Students stay enrolled in their own school while joining a virtual-first, partial-enrollment program. AoPS Institute provides the advanced coursework most schools can't offer. We aim to work with schools to make room for this coursework, and with universities so it's recognized.
Ready means in
If a student is ready, they're in. Admission is based on mathematical readiness alone: not limited seats, not zip code, not a family's ability to pay. Admissions are need-blind, backed by significant financial support.
First cohort
Fall 2027
We will welcome the first cohort of AoPS Institute students.
Now hiring
We're looking for someone who lived this gap themselves and can now build the program they never had: the mathematical identity, design, and credibility of everything the Institute puts its name on.
